Winter Storm Juno, eh? I love weather, so to me it’s great fun. It’s also a great excuse to cozy up with a good book and hot chocolate or a bowl of buttery popcorn and some Netflix.
Today’s eat. LOVE. inspire. isn’t a cozy youtube video about someone making a difference, or a buttery call to action. It’s a simple, and gentle reminder.
The most recent statistics show that over 600,000 Americans are homeless. Without a home. Without a place to lay their head. This is an easy statistic to gloss over, until you really start to think about it, especially as we’re all bundled up dry and warm in our homes as the snow piles up outside. Outside is their home, now wet and cold.
This is no guilt trip, no call to action, no nothing. Just a reminder. A reminder to be thankful for that roof over our heads, whatever it may look like.
