Scone-Cake Chocolate Chip Cookies

I need a cookie. And a glass of milk. wine.

It’s been a hectic, crazy, amazing, energetic, my heels are killing me kind of week at work. And I’m loving it.

But I still need a cookie.

Remember that book, “If you give a mouse a cookie?” The answer is he needs a glass of milk.

While that applies, let’s try, “If you give a food blogger a full time day job?” The answer is she needs a cookie.

 

Scone-Cake Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

½ cup sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon instant coffee mix
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Cream sugar, butter and eggs.
2. Mix (slowly) in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, coffee.
3. Fold in chocoloate chips.
4. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
